I've finally completed marking the exams. Sorry for the delay. The results are as follows:

These results are of course disappointing for me and Pedro, and I am sure for some of you too. I hope we can have a session together before the resit exam and that things will go a lot better there.

In the exam you will answer three questions, from a total of four available. The questions will be mainly mathematical in character, although there will be one essay question. You have 3 hours. Here is a sample exam from January 2016. Study the first page carefully.
An acceptable exam answer shows a basic knowledge and understanding of the material, and is easy to read and understand.
An outstanding exam answer shows a thorough knowledge and understanding of the material, plus the ability to find examples to illustrate the reasoning and strengthen the arguments being made. It is well structured and a pleasure to read.
